Mr and Mrs Howard had struggled with the minefield that is planning law and spent £000's. They wanted their children to live in the main cottage and build a lodge in their beautiful garden in Kent. We supported the planning application with a ‘lawful development certificate for a mobile home in the garden’ and took away the worry.
Kent Cottage is a twin unit build that fits within the regulations and has given Mr and Mrs Howard an attractive home in their garden. A 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom build that has been designed to allow all the open living space to be built at the front of the lodge to capture and enjoy the sunset acrosss their pretty cottage garden and the Kent land beyond.
A stained douglas fir clad that suits its environment and floor to ceiling bifold doors and windows for maximum light. A traditional timber decking and ramp for Mr Howard for support completes the look and feel of Kent Cottage.
The lodge was built to enable the expanding family to inherit the cottage and Mr and Mrs Howard to retire comfortably. Learn more about our bespoke garden annexes.
From conception, right through the whole construction process to ultimate completion, Simon and his Eco Living Spaces team were most professional, helpful and considerate.
Simon in particular was excellent in managing the whole project for us, and nothing was too much trouble. He certainly is a 'trouble-shooter par excellence'.
