We endeavour to provide energy efficient buildings that keep their effect on the environment to a minimum. Rising energy costs are becoming an increasingly relevant issue for homeowners as well as the cost to the environment from traditional energy sources. We have used a renewable energy heat source system and underfloor heating system to support.
When my partner first suggested the idea of building a mobile home, I wasn’t sure. How wrong I was! We have now been living in our home for two months and all I can say is it's stylish, warm and looks as far away from a 'caravan' as you can get.
We had previously put in an application to build a house on the site to be on site to be close to and look after our ageing father but it was such a lengthy and expensive process that we decided to look into the Lawful development certificate for twin mobile units. This process could not have been easier, the team helped us with the application as they were specialists and experienced.
From the moment we had our first meeting with Eco, we felt confident that we would end up with the home we wanted. They were great at helping us with the design and throughout the process coming up with suggestions to improve an idea. The build team themselves are totally professional, but also extremely friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble.
We have obviously had friends round and all have been amazed at the size and finish both inside and out. We can honestly say it has been a total pleasure building our lodge with Eco Living Spaces.
“We are working hard to improve our own carbon footprint by constantly looking at sensible sourcing of our products. We give careful consideration to our materials, looking at products from local suppliers who are taking responsibility in committing to protecting the environment too" It Is important to us to reduce and re cycle our waste, and use sustainable materials which have a long service life. Utilising triple Glazed products, oak and high end red cedar cladding for our passive houses supports the lodges energy efficiency, dramatically reducing energy bills an CO2.”
